What is Allergan Botox?

Allergan Botox injections are a prescription medication made by Allergan India Pvt Ltd. Botox injections improve the look of the face by reducing wrinkles and cure some medical issues by inducing muscles to relax. Botox Injection works by blocking nerve signals to the muscles.

Botox Cosmetic and Botox injections are both FDA-approved drugs. Botox Cosmetic is used to remove cosmetic wrinkles, while Allergan Botox injections are intended to treat medical diseases such as chronic migraines, bladder problems, excessive sweating, and other muscle-related medical conditions.

Botox and Botox Cosmetic differ in that they have different strengths:

Once the vial is filled, they have different FDA-approved uses. As a result, they should never be used interchangeably.

What is the use of Botox Cosmetic and Botox Injections?

Botox Cosmetic Injections are used to treat the following conditions:

Facial Wrinkles:

Botox Cosmetic Injection is used to help smooth moderate to severe forehead lines, crow’s foot lines (wrinkles towards the outer corner of the eye), and frown lines between the brows in adults (FDA approved).

Allergan Botox Injections Used for:

Chronic migraines:

Allergan Botox injection is used to treat chronic migraines in adults who experience 15 or more headaches per month that last 4 hours or more. Botox can be injected into seven particular locations of the head and neck muscles to treat migraines.

Depending on the patient, the results can last up to 12 weeks. In seven placebo-controlled studies, Botox was not found to be safe or efficacious for the prevention of episodic migraine (14 headache days or fewer per month).

Dystonia of the cervical spine:

Allergan Botox injection is used to treat cervical dystonia in individuals aged 16 and over. Cervical dystonia is a disorder that causes the muscles in your neck to contract unnaturally. As a result, your neck twists and your head tilts to one side, forwards, or backward.

Muscle tenseness:

Botox Injection is also used to treat muscle stiffness (spasticity) in the arms, hands, legs, and feet of adults and children over the age of two. Spasticity is defined as an unnatural increase in muscle tone or muscle stiffness that can create difficulty with movement and speech, as well as discomfort or pain.

Eye muscle problems:

Botox is used to treat some eye muscle issues caused by nerve abnormalities in adults and children over the age of 12. Uncontrolled blinking or spasm of the eyelids (benign essential blepharospasm) and a disorder in which the eyes do not point in the same direction (strabismus) are examples.

Bladder problems:
